Robotics Summer Bootcamp
The Quantegy Kids Robotics Summer Camp is the funnest way for your kids to build the skills they need for the future. At our summer boot camp, campers will learn how to build their own robots and use 3D printing technology to develop their own mathematical manipulatives. By the end of the five day course, participants will be light years ahead of their math and science classes for the coming school year.
Data Science Bootcamp
Data Science Bootcamp is the perfect introduction to the key concepts and skills used by data scientists. Over the 5 day course, students will be introduced to data warehousing and cleaning, python and machine learning. By the end of the 5 days, all students will be building their own algorithms and applying their new skills to industry specific problems faced every day

STEM Saturdays – Free workshop
Join our trainers Dr Mienie Roberts and Sam Jackson for a free robotics class held most Saturdays. Mienie and Sam will show you how to create a real robot in just an hour. You will also learn about our great Summer Camp program and get to see a working 3D Printer.
Girl Scouts Workshops
Earn your engineering bade in just one day! In this hands-on course students will learn to design and program robots with the LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Base Set and software. Students will apply drag-and-drop programming to build robots and develop critical thinking skills. This course encourages teamwork and creativity in a STEM-focused environment.
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence – Free Workshop
Artificial Intelligence is the term that everybody is talking about but nobody understands. Find out how to stay ahead of the game and protect your career in an automating world. The Quantegy Learning Free Introduction to Artificial Intelligence Workshop will introduce students to the emerging field of machine learning and identify how humans will work with increasingly intelligent machines in the future.
Gerhard is a data scientist and predictive modeller at Allianz Insurance where he uses complex data-sets to understand and predict client behaviour. Having previously worked at South Africa’s largest Bank, Nedbank, Gerhardus worked at ING Direct in Australia in Credit Risk before moving into the areas customer analytics within the ING Marketing Department. Gerhard holds an Honours Degree in Quantitative Risk Management and a Masters Degree in Informatics.
Mr. Sam Jackson is a professor in Engineering and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering. He has experience teaching robotics classes and preparing students for robotics competitions.
Dr Mienie Roberts
Dr. Mienie Roberts is an analyst with an affinity for mathematical models and quantitative techniques. She has extensive experience in teaching upper and gradual level Mathematics and Statistical courses that introduce students to leading edge software. Since 2012 she has served as higher education partner for Texas Education Service Center Region 12, and has designed and conducted multiple professional development workshops for local educators. She is a Professor of Mathematics at Texas A&M University where she teaches various advanced Mathematics and Analytics courses. Dr. Roberts holds a Ph.D from Kent State University.
